The Flying Pigs, the Aberdeen based cmedy team behind BBC Scotland’s ‘Desperate Fishwives’ have been delighting ever growing audiences with their mix of songs and sketches for almost two decades. They’ve had three wildly successful BBC Scotland radio series, one widely-ignored BBC Scotland TV pilot, and meanwhile have been selling out theatres, arts centres and town halls all over the North East of Scotland. their last show, ‘Finzean in the Rain’ was seen by 10,000 people, only one of whom complained. Now ‘the punk Scotland the What?’ bring their sly brand of humour to Edinburgh for the first time. Packed with laughs and a distinctive North-East flavour, ‘The Seagull Has Landed’ is sure to delight old fans and newcomers alike – just the ticket for anyone who fancies an evening of comedy before fleeing the city for the duration of the Fringe.
