July 1st - 3rd 2008
Aberdeen Arts Centre
Since their debut at the Lemon Tree in 1998, the popularity of Aberdeen's own Flying Pig Productions has soared, and they recently enjoyed a sell out run at HMT.
On 1st, 2nd and 3rd July 2008 the team who brought you The Seagull has Landed
and The Madness of Kingswells
recorded six twenty minute programmes for BBC Radio Scotland.
Each night they recorded 2 different shows in front of a live audience, and some of you were part of it.
They performed sketches and songs selected from previous Flying Pig productions, from Last Tango in Powis
to Desperate Fishwives
, along with some brand new material, without sets, staging or costumes (it was for radio, remember?).
Both nights were fun, frantic and full of the Flying Pigs' usual blend of local humour and inspired silliness. Plus, all proceeds went straight to Castlegate Arts.
